Citizenship by Investment Program
About the program
The Grenada Citizenship by Investment Program went into effect when the Grenadian Parliament passed the “Grenada Citizenship by Investment Act, 2013.” This Citizenship by Investment program is one of the most stable programs of its kind in the Caribbean.
As an applicant, you must be at least 18 years of age, of good character and without a criminal record.
Additionally, you are required to make a non-refundable donation to the National Transformation Fund or make an investment in government-approved real estate projects.
Investment Options
Donation - Single Applicant: USD 150,000
A single applicant should make a non-refundable contribution to the NTF.
Primary applicant and up to 3 dependents: USD 200,000
A family of up to four persons can also make a non-refundable contribution to the NTF under the same application. Whereas a family of more than four can apply with a non-refundable contribution plus an additional sum for every dependant from the fifth family member onwards.
Additional dependent child: USD 25,000
Up to 30 years of age
Dependent parents aged under 65: USD 50,000
Dependent parents aged over 65: USD 25,000
Real Estate: USD 220,000
An investment in a Government-approved real estate project which can be hotel, villa or resort developments is an approved investment option as well. The conditions of holding the real estate for at least three years following the approval of citizenship and payment of the additional Government fees must be met to fulfil this investment criterion.

In addition to the purchase of real estate, there are government fees to be paid.
Government Fees: USD 50,000
Dependent parents aged under 65: USD 50,000
Dependent parents aged over 65: USD 25,000
Processing and application fees
Processing fees per person: USD 15,000
Processing fees dependents aged up to 18: USD 500
Processing fees for dependents aged 18+: USD 1,500
Application fees per person: USD 1,500
Due Diligence & Background Checks
There are required background checks payable to the Government’s preferred due diligence agency that will use Interpol, World-Check and other Government agencies to screen applicants based on their application. The fees are required for both the NDF and the real estate investment options.
Due Diligence per person: USD 5,000
Due Diligence for children aged 0-16: No charge
Due Diligence for children aged 17-30: USD 5,000
Due Diligence for dependent parents: USD 5,000
Benefits
The benefits of obtaining Grenada citizenship include, among others: lifetime citizenship without a need to renounce your current citizenship or the need to visit or reside in Grenada to get it. Visa-free access or visa on arrival to 121+ countries, including the United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Schengen States and China.
